Our Public Safety and Subsidence team play a vital role in protecting communities from the impact of past coal mining. We manage hazards and subsidence claims through investigation, treatment and remediation helping to keep people and property safe.
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll support the delivery of this work from start to finish.
You’ll be involved in a wide range of projects, from responding to mine shaft collapses and shallow workings, to investigating fissures and hazards linked to mine gas.
In this role, you will:
- Support Project Managers to deliver remediation and investigation projects
- Carry out site inspections and assist with managing on-site works
- Help coordinate contractors, consultants and engineers
- Support assessments of liability and project planning
- Work closely with customers and stakeholders throughout each stage
It’s a varied role where no two days are the same – combining site experience with project coordination and stakeholder engagement.
This role primarily covers the Yorkshire and North West regions, with occasional travel to support other areas.
